The worst birthday gift I ever received

This girl that I started to have this major crush on told me the day before my birthday she gotten me a gift. I was excited and nervous about it. I really didn’t expect her to get me anything.

When I saw her walk through the door my heart sank I started to tremble a little bit. But you know I tried to play it cool act like I didn’t notice her walk in wait for her to acknowledge me.

Then she came up to me and said happy birthday handed me a plastic bag with a movie in it. I absolutely love movies and as I reach in she starts to say “for your birthday I brought you back your movie you left over ”

Great you gave me something I already owned. I feel like a fool for thinking that you actually would think about me and would get me something for my birthday. Is it just me or is that a slap in the face.
